June 25 and 26

Fishing has been excellent this last week.
In the morning we have been catching Tuna on Ballyhoo and in the afternoon we fly a kite with flying fish.
The kite bites are fun to watch!
The tuna come jumping out of the water after the flying fish.
It is very cool to watch.
Mid-day we have been going outside the tuna grounds and catching Dolphins.

We fished with AJ and friends. We had a great day! Sea conditions were great and the fish were biting. We caught 30 gaffer Dolphins, 2 Yellowfin Tunas and 2 Amberjacks.

May 29th and 30th

We fished the Bacardi Tuna Tournament this week and had a blast.

We fished Bill from Bacardi and his team.
We had a GREAT time and lot’s of fun.
We end up in 4th place (1st loser because you win no money in 4th place just 1st, 2nd and 3rd)
We may have done better but a Mako shark decide to eat our biggest tuna.
I decide that the Mako then would die.
The shark swam around the boat while we reeled in 3 other tuna that we hooked the same time. I came off the bridge and free gaffed the shark as it swam around the boat, Patrick then followed up with a second gaff and white water went flying. We quickly got a tail rope on the shark and it was “GAME OVER”.
