Strong SW winds have been a problem this week. This week we will see some North and NE winds which will help us out with fishing!
We fished 7/22 with Melanie and family and release 1 White Marlin and caught some Tile fish
7/23 we had Dan and crew and caught some Dolphin, 2 Tuna’s and 1 Blue Marlin. The Blue Marlin bite was GREAT! We had just caught the 2 tuna’s and were setting back out. Patrick was setting a Islander in the r/short rigger when he attacked it. We missed him and he turn off to the r/long rigger Dink bait, I tried to get it away from him but he wanted so I gave it to him. Hooked up! But then he decide that was not enough, he then tried to eat another dink bait and then went after our L/side teaser. Finally he realized that he we hooked and off to the races we went! We got the release on the 250 pounder on 30 pound tackle with 4 pounds of drag in 20 minutes! Great job Dan!
